Web enabled applications have been growing in popularity and ability as quickly as high speed connectivity has rolled out over the internet.  These applications are now central to our lives allowing us to bank online, order that specific item we need at the best possible value, but in short web applications have changed the way we interact with suppliers and service providers.

The first web enabled print applications allowed users to order personalised business cards, company brochures and literature.  Although these were powerful tools, they were limited in what they could do - a one size fits all scenarios, due to limited pre-defined templates.  Later versions allowed users to upload artwork, request digital proofs and place an order for the required number of copies, the print job would then be delivered to an address entered when the order was placed.
